More importantly, should a customer have a need in an area that falls outside our expertise, we have the ability and the commitment to outsource that expertise via a subcontract. We do not decide who is on our task team based on considerations of profit margins. Instead, ROI will always put the customer's needs first when it comes to the quality of technical expertise. This means that our customers can choose to hire the best people for the job, not accept whoever happens to be on the job.

Cost-Effectiveness
One of ROI's greatest strengths has been our success in automating the majority of administrative and accounting tasks that are a big cost burden in other consulting companies. Our ability to operate smoothly and efficiently with very low overheads means that we can charge our customers in government much lower rates than other companies, and still be able to attract the top talents in their respective fields.

Results
Our unique corporate structure puts our customers in direct contact with the technical experts who perform the required tasking. There are no multiple layers of management to pass on and misinterpret feedback to the person who actually performs the work. Nor are there obstacles created by the need to generate a minimum level of profit, or to minimize costs by putting on the team lower-cost, and less experienced employees. Instead, our customers pick who they want on their task team, and work closely with the team members. Feedback is immediate, and our experts can therefore respond quickly to our customers' concerns and requirements. Although our consultants do not report to "managers," they report to someone who has an even better grasp of their performance: their sponsors. Our consultants are in weekly, if not daily, contact with their sponsors, who evaluate the work we perform, as well as our final product. This makes our consultants highly responsive to our customers, and the results have been impressive. To date, our performance has been rated "outstanding" in all contracts we have undertaken.
Accountability
At ROI Defense Associates, we accept accountability to our customers. If something needs to be done on Sunday or Christmas Day, our Members do it, because we hold ourselves accountable to our customers.
In addition, our Members are able to work under any management structure required by our customers. We have had Members work directly with sponsors with very little "management" except for the evaluation of their work and end product by their sponsors. However, when the need arises, such as when a large team is involved, we can also put in place a team management structure. What is important is that at ROI, our government customers will be able to pick the team structure that suits their needs, including hand picking individuals to work specific tasks, team leaders to manage and oversee integrated efforts, and program managers to ensure that task objectives are being met -- all of whom hold themselves accountable to the sponsors who picked them for the job.
